Lynn Kelly is a contemporary jeweller who is based in Christchurch and exhibits widely in New Zealand and internationally.
Kelly’s background in Horticulture and lifelong interest in plants and the landscape is evident in the jewellery she creates; work inspired by plants and historic botanical drawings using both organic and traditional materials.
Kelly has won numerous awards for her work including the 2007 Dowse Foundation Gold Award for jewellery. This beautiful winning necklace of Gold and Tussock Grass is now in the permanent collection of The Dowse Art Museum in Wellington.
Her work is included in the collection of the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, The Dowse Art Museum and in private collections in New Zealand and overseas.
