Ross Malcolm

Ross Malcolm completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in Jewellery at The University of Auckland in 2004.

He has won a number of awards including the Supreme Contemporary Award at the National Jewellery Showcase in 2007 and was Overall Winner of the Molly Morpeth Canaday 3D Sculpture Award in 2006.

More recently, Malcolm has produced  beautiful botanical-inspired jewellery through the use of rubber, plastic, paper and resin. These works draw on his interests in ecology and sustainability and the changes of the season.

Malcolm’s work is held in private collections in New Zealand and overseas and in the collections of The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa and The Dowse Art Museum.
