Claudia Borella

Originally trained as an industrial designer, Claudia Borella undertook further studies at the University of Canberra and the European Institute of Design in Milan before specialising in Fine Arts at the Australian National University in Canberra.

Since the 1990’s Borella has developed her kiln-fired techniques to produce elegant and sophisticated glass artworks works which are admired and collected internationally.  

Borella’s works are represented in many international collections including the National Gallery of Australia; Toyama Institute of Glass Art, Japan; the Glass Furnace in Istanbul, Turkey and the Glass Museum Ebeltoft in Denmark. Her work is also featured in many significant private collections including those of Sir Elton John and the Head of State in Abu Dhabi.
