 Ilse-Marie Erl

Originally from Germany, Ilse-Marie Erl moved to New Zealand in the late 1980s.

She has a Bachelor of Design and a Master of Design from UNITEC Institute of Technology in Auckland and has been a Lecturer in Contemporary Craft, Jewellery, Furniture and Object Making at the same institution.

Erl was a founding member of the Whau Studios Contemporary Jewellery Collective in Auckland and now works full-time on her own jewellery-making practice.
